This website, emerystarlauten.com, is operated by Devi Reiki Holdings, LLC, doing business as Emery Star Lauten.

By accessing and using this website, creating an account, purchasing services, or submitting information through our forms, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website.

Services

Devi Reiki™ is a holistic health and ministerial service offering mentoring, classes, seminars, workshops, intensives, and retreats in the field of Reiki. Services include individual Devi Reiki™ sessions, spiritual mentoring, the Inner Sanctum program, and Reiki training and certification (Shoden, Okuden, Shinpiden).

All services are provided for spiritual education, personal growth, and complementary wellness support. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or other professional services. Please refer to our Disclaimer for full details.

Intake Forms & Informed Consent

Before scheduling a paid session, you are required to complete an intake form and sign an informed consent agreement. The intake form collects wellness information to help prepare for your session. The informed consent agreement outlines the nature, scope, and limitations of the services you are receiving.

You may not schedule a paid session until both the intake form and informed consent agreement have been completed and signed.

Client Portal & Account

Certain features of this website, including session scheduling and appointment management, require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Cancellation Policy: Sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable. No-shows are non-refundable. Deposits for programs are non-refundable.

Emery Star Lauten reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session at any time, in which case a full refund or rescheduled session will be offered.

Scheduling & Remote Sessions

Sessions are scheduled through Cal.com. You will receive a confirmation email with session details, including any video call links for remote sessions conducted via Zoom. You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection and a quiet, private space for remote sessions.

By participating in a remote session, you acknowledge that the same terms, disclaimers, and limitations of liability apply as for in-person sessions.

Email Communications

We may send you transactional emails related to your account, appointments, and agreements (e.g., booking confirmations, reminders, and payment receipts). These are not marketing communications and are necessary for providing our services.

Marketing and promotional emails are sent only with your explicit opt-in consent via Mailchimp. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email.

Intellectual Property

Devi Reiki™ is a trademark of Emery Star Lauten, owned by Devi Reiki Holdings, LLC. All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, course materials, and the compilation thereof, is the property of Emery Star Lauten and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website or training materials without explicit written permission from Emery Star Lauten.

Limitation of Liability
